Try This - Pink From R&B to pop, now to rock – it’s impossible to predict the Pink Wonder. Always amazing, always enthralling, always at the top of her game, Pink rocks back with her third studio effort, Try This. Pink’s latest body of material finds the revolutionary girl-power artist toying with the biker chick image. Setting herself as far away as possible from the Christinas and the Britneys of the young female arena, Try This rocks out so hard it makes Avril Lavigne look like Sponge Bob. The first single, "Trouble", is already dominating the pop, hip-hop and rock charts – paving the way for another platinum Pink CD. Teaming up again with the front woman from 4 Non Blondes, Linda Perry, Pink delivers a set of outrageously delicious rock anthems. Heavy metal guitars, thrashing beats, screaming vocals, sweet melodies and lots of Pink attitude, Try This is Pink’s command for respect. I, myself, like and prefer R&B Pink. I long for the flirtation of "Can’t Take You Home". But I must give Pink credit for reinventing herself again and never losing sight of good music no matter what musical style she tackles. Try This will put off some fans who are looking for another "Get This Party Started", but it will open doors to a career of longevity. A bright move from a girl who we wrote off after her debut CD. Try This is worth a listen – it’s intoxicating. It’s fun. It’s boundless. You’ll be tickled Pink.
