Cher - Living Proof

Ok, Boys – She’s back!!! It’s all about February 26, 2002 ‘cause that’s when the album you’ve all been waiting for hits the stores. Cher’s Living Proof is sure to reclaim the dance floor and the dance charts. It’s cold outside but this album is Hot, Hot, Hot.

The only female singer to have a hit in each of the last four decades emerges after the global success of Believe. Cher was quoted saying, ‘All these effects on my voice drives me crazy’. But she’s smart enough to know exactly what her boys want and she delivers it. She didn’t leave behind the vocoder (her signature sound which revolutionized dance music) -- it’s present throughout Living Proof.

Teaming up with mega-producers Mark Tayor and Brian Rawling again, they bring you four of the explosive twelve songs on this album. Other collaborators are Nick Bracegirdle (of Chicane), Tony Moran, Guy Roche, and Rick Nowels. The energy starts with the first single, "The Music’s No Good Without You", and doesn’t stop until the tongue-in-cheek twelfth song, "When The Money’s Gone".

Cher is Living Proof – living proof that age ain’t nothing but a number. This fifty-plus artist still has it! She sounds great!!! Hitting notes she has never hit before, in ranges she never explored – she just keeps getting better and better. This is a dance music masterpiece. Check out the house cut, "Real Love". It will have you on your feet, waving your hands in the air.

I hope you didn’t miss her electrifying performance of "A Song For The Lonely" on the American Music Awards, which will be the second single from the Living Proof CD. Cher dedicated the song to the families and victims of September 11th.

No one does it better than Ms. Cher. Living Proof is one of the rare albums in which you’ll like every song. I even like her exploration into trip-hop on the song "You Take It All". This newly blonde diva found her niche, providing us with our summer CD, packed with party tunes, beach background music and club anthems.

Living Proof is a must-have. If you can’t wait until February 22nd, you can also find it on import at Tower Records or Virgin Megastore.
